On the 18th and 25th of September several members of the ANSO DC Chapter, to include several ANSO National Board members, participated in the Hispanic Heritage celebration at the Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy. As a part of the celebration the members spoke with 9th and 10th grade students as a part of their College and Career Awareness program.

use Public Policy to create a more just, free, and equal world. They engage Scholars in Advocacy Projects in each grade level (6th-12th) and offer Public Policy courses during their high school experience.
Volunteer, such as ANSO, are involved by providing expert public policy makers, thinkers, and leaders, as well as professionals working in public policy and service careers. This engagement greatly enriches the learning experiences of the Scholars.
