Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program (BDCP)

If you are a college student who is interested in becoming a Navy officer when you graduate, you should apply for the Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program (BDCP). This program pays future naval officers a monthly salary while they are still attending college. Qualified technical majors can receive a salary of at least $2,242 per month for up to 3 years prior to graduation and qualified non-technical majors can receive this salary for up to 2 years prior to graduation.

Seaman to Admiral 21 (STA-21)

The STA-21 Commissioning Program is designed to meet the goals of the Navy in the 21st Century, while at the same time creating a fair and equitable system for outstanding active duty Sailors to receive a top-notch college education and become commissioned officers in the Unrestricted Line (URL), Special Duty Officer (Intelligence), Special Duty Officer (Information Warfare - formerly Cryptologic), Nurse Corps (NC), Supply Corps (SC), or Civil Engineer Corps (CEC).

Navy Nurse NROTC Program

Four-year NROTC scholarships are also available to students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN). Upon graduation, NROTC Program Midshipmen will be commissioned as Officers in the Navy Nurse Corps.

Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps: Up to $180,000 in college tuition!

This scholarship can provide enough money to cover up to four, and with some technical degrees (e.g., engineering, physics, etc.), even five years of tuition, textbooks, a monthly spending allowance, and other related fees. Plus, upon graduation, you’ll be placed in a job in an exciting career field as a naval officer.

United States Naval Academy

As the undergraduate college of the Naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Naval Academy students are midshipmen on active duty in the U.S. Navy. They attend the academy for four years, graduating with Bachelor of Science degrees and commissions as ensigns in the Navy or second lieutenants in the Marine Corps. Naval Academy graduates serve at least five years as Navy or Marine Corps officers.
