On behalf of CAPT Mark Frankford, Chief of the Office of Cutter Forces at Coast Guard Headquarters, please find attached a letter requesting your organization’s assistance with an upcoming initiative. The Office of Cutter Forces is sponsoring Eight Bells — A Sea Service Celebration on 18 October 2017 to honor the everyday traditions common aboard Coast Guard cutters, highlight shared experiences across all afloat platforms and recognize the hard work done by members on board every cutter.
