                  EVENT DETAILS

ANSO’s annual program consists of working-level symposia co-located with local chapters. The symposia are designed to provide members with career management support and one-on-one mentoring sessions with senior officers and senior enlisted members who volunteer their time in support of their shipmates.

This year’s Eastern Region Symposium (ERS) will be held jointly with the National Naval Officers Association (NNOA), in Norfolk, Virginia, with coordination being led by our members of the Norfolk Chapter. The event will take place 29 Jul – 2 Aug, 2024 at the Marriott Waterside Norfolk, Virginia. ANSO and NNOA leadership have obtained sponsorship from the services and respective service messages with specific instructions are posted under the message section below. Cost per person attending will depend on membership status and rank. Anyone not qualified to obtain a service sponsorship can register any time via the event registration page.

A virtual option will NOT be available.

Everyone and all services are welcome to participate!

Important Note!! Participants are encouraged to bring their evals, fitness reports, etc, as there will be opportunities to get one on one career advice from senior leaders.
