Welcome to the ANSO Scholarship Program page. Here you will find details about the scholarships currently available and instructions on how to apply.

Scholarships Available

– Association of Naval Services Officers (ANSO) Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Association of Naval Services Officers (ANSO) is committed to developing future leaders. To support this mission, ANSO is offering scholarships to qualified high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement.

Number of Awards

A total of fifteen (15) scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarship Amounts

  • Three (3) awards of $1,000
  • Four (4) awards of $750
  • Eight (8) awards of $500

Application Deadline

All application materials must be submitted by February 27, 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be classified as a current high school senior
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate active leadership in school, community, or extracurricular activities
  • Be of Latino/Hispanic descent

Eligibility will be verified during the application review process.

Application Requirements

Please ensure you have the following materials ready before starting your application:

  • High school transcript (official or unofficial)
  • One signed letter of recommendation from a teacher
  • One written essay (see details below)

  1. What are your top three goals after graduation?
  2. How would receiving this scholarship help you achieve those goals?

Format Requirements

  • Maximum length: 500 words
  • APA format
  • Double-spaced
  • 12-point Times New Roman
  • Saved in .pdf format

IMPORTANT!! The essay must be the applicant’s original work. Use of artificial intelligence tools, virtual assistance, or outside support is not permitted and may result in disqualification.
