Welcome to the ANSO Scholarship Program Page. Below you will find information on the scholarships that are currently available.

Scholarships available

  1.   Major General David C. Garza, USMC (Ret), JROTC Scholarship
    • Description: We are happy to announce that through a very generous donation from the Garza family, we are offering $1000 scholarships to 15 JROTC Cadets.
    • Available Scholarships: 15
    • Amount: $1000
    • Deadline for Submission: February 28, 2025
    • Eligibility Requirements:
      1. Active JROTC Cadet (Any Sea Service)
      2. Classified as a High School Senior
      3. GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale)
      4. Unit Senior Naval Science Instructor Recommendation
      5. Latino/Hispanic Descent
    • Application Requirements (have these items ready prior to applying):
      1. High School Transcript (Official or Unofficial)
      2. Unit Senior Naval Science Instructor Letter of Recommendation (Signed)
      3. Essay
        • Prepare a one-page essay responding to the following question: What are your goals and how would this scholarship help you achieve those goals? (Essay to be in APA format, no more than one page and must be applicant’s original work. Applicant may not receive advice, edits, reviews, suggestions or assistance on the essay)
